Before purchasing your ticket/s to any Mental Health Moment event (including Mums’ Night Out!) please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully.
Please also refer to individual Moment/event information for any additional, event specific terms and/or conditions, including but not limited to ticket purchases opening and closing dates, layby/payment plan options, meal options etc
Purchase of tickets is confirmation that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.
Please note: All Mental Health Moments, including Mums’ Night Out!, are child free events. Any children in attendance will be given an double-espresso and a large bag of red lollies and you wil be asked to take them home immediately. Non-mobile babies requiring breastfeeding are an exception, on the condition that you advise us with plenty of notice that you will be bringing said child along. Some events are not appropriate, even for breastfeeding babies. We do, however promise not to give them espresso or red lollies. Maybe. No promises.
General Terms
Mental Health Moments are organised and hosted each year by Real Mums Pty Ltd (www.realmums.com.au) with the aid of some generous businesses, big and small, who come on board as sponsors. The aim of these Moments is to get out of the house and away from your kids and partners (whatever is applicable to you and your situation), be irresponsible, let your hair down, have fun and all the rest of it.
We cannot and will not be responsible for the amount you eat or drink, or how often you fall off your high heels when dancing around your handbag. We will also not be responsible for you being caught on camera dancing to daggy 80s tunes or ABBA.
We cannot and will not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any property or part of person during these events. This is the bit where, sadly, you do have to be responsible.
Photographers may be present at any Moment, both professional and personal, and any photos taken may be used to promote future events. If you do not wish us to use your image, please let us know. We also ask that you be respectful of others and aware of the impact some photographs may have. Mostly the “what happens at a mums’ night out, stays at a mums night out!” rule applies – even if it is really funny at the time.
Tickets may be purchased after the official ticket closing date, if you beg and plead. This will incur an additional booking fee and a requirement you replenish our supply of sauvignon blanc.
Layby / Payment Plan Ticket Booking/s
To make Mental Health Moments available to as many mums as possible, we offer you the option of a layby or payment plan when booking your tickets.
Where possible, we give you a maximum of three (3) months in which to pay off your ticket booking/s. We also try to offer an two (2) month option, once the closing date for the previous option is passed.
Please refer to specific Moments and payment plan bookings for specific part payment amounts and closing dates.
Discounts
Discounts apply to Bad Mother’s Club Members (formerly Real Mums Membership), groups of 10 or more and both financial and non-financial sponsors of the event.
- Discount code (where applicable/given) MUST be entered upon purchase of ticket for the discount to apply
- Club Members may only use their discount for their personal ticket and one friend (maximum 2 tickets). Additional tickets purchased on behalf of others are at the full rate. Visit the Club Shop to purchase Club Member Tickets
- Sponsors (both financial and non-financial) are able to purchase tickets additional tickets at the discounted rate – once sponsorship is confirmed, you will received a personal code for discounts
- Bookings of 10 must be booked in one transaction in order to received the discount
- Discounts apply to ticket price ONLY and cannot be used for accommodation
Discounts do not apply to layby ticket purchase, unfortunately

Accommodation
For some of our Moments, like Mums’ Night Out! for example, we like to organise some accommodation for you, to make your life a little easier.
The option of accommodation, if applicable, is made available to you when you purchase your ticket/s to the event. This is usually shared accommodation, so we can keep the costs as low as possible for you.
If you wish to book a single, twin or double room, the charges are higher and must be booked separated (please email info@mumsnightout.com.au to discuss)
We are only organising the accommodation and have no affiliation or agreement, other than booking the room/s, with the venue or motel. It is merely for your convenience. The rate is out of our control. We have based the booking fee on the number of people who are sharing the room. If you agree and pay to come, your accommodation cannot and will not be refunded. Our ensuring you have a bed for the night is done in good faith and the trust that you will be there for the night.
Cancellation and Non-Attendance
(Although why you would want to is totally beyond us!)
Any cancellations must be made in writing (email is fine, but please ensure we have received it) and must be a compelling reason.
All cancellations incur a minimum $10 administration fee.
Any cancellation requests received within 1 month of the Moment will incur a 50% administration fee.
No refund will be given for cancellation requests submit within two weeks of the Moment booked, and no discussion will be entered into.
No refund will be given on layby payments already made.
No refund and no discussion will also apply to non-attendance at the event.
As were are a “middleman” in relation to the booking of any accommodation, there will be no refund on the accommodation booked and paid for. No discussion will be entered into.
Privacy
We will collect your name, address and phone number details when booking your tickets, and quite possibly during the event.
These details will only be used to contact you to advise you of any important information relating to the event, both before and after, and to keep you informed of addtional events and Mental Health Moments run by Real Mums or that we feel will be of interest to you.
You may remove yourself from any correspondence lists at any time.
We promise we will not share, give, sell or otherwise hand over any of your details to any third party for any reason.
Please note that, on ocassion, we have sponsors attending the event to provide a service, or donating a prize, and they may ask for your details. This is entirely seperate from Real Mums and we advise that we are not affiliated with these companies in any way (aside from their extremely generous support!) We cannot and will not be held responsible for any correspondence they send you, including any content, links or advertising within said content.
We do our best to work with ethical, sensible, moral people. This disclaimer is just so you are aware.
Bookings Essential for both tickets to the event and accommodation at all Moments unless otherwise specified.
